Sharjah: A run spree is on in the 38th edition of the Bukhatir League A division tournament, which is now underway at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana piled up 301 for five in the 50-over tournament. Irfan Haider led the run riot with 106 runs off 120 balls with six fours and two sixers against Interface Transworld Cricket Club.
The Fly Emirates too piled up 285 for three through Arshad Ali’s 114 runs off 124 balls with nine fours and two sixers against Eurocon Alubond.
However, on such a batting wicket, Zultec Club bowled out Afridi Cricket Club for 146 runs in 32.3 overs and won the match in 25.6 overs losing four wickets. Interestingly, in the Abu Dhabi UBL Twenty-20 Cup, Gymkhana kept up the good work to pile up 257 for three and register a 155-run win over Petroleum Institute. gymkhana, defending Bukhatir League champions, played like winners. Patil shines
